Castle Comer is one of those homes that makes us feel rather lucky to do this job. It’s clearly been loved and carefully looked after, and the rooms have a warmth that’s difficult to capture in words. There’s plenty of character, but also more space than you might expect from a period cottage.

Follow the path through the colourful garden to the front door and you’ll begin to see just how much care has gone into the place.
